Barry M "Vintage Violet" Nail Polish Review

Check me out sporting a dark, autumnal/wintery colour! I went looking for a chocolate brown colour and was hoping I'd be able to find one by Models Own. Alas, the only shade anywhere near what I was after was shimmery and so I headed over to the Barry M stand, where I belong and picked up Vintage Violet. In the light in the shop it looked purpley-brown. Unfortunately in normal light and o the nails it's just a dark purple with a brownish tinge.

The good thing about wearing these darker colours is they are so opaque, one coat is plenty. Although it isn't part of the Hi Gloss collection I really like how shiny this polish is, making it look lovely and luxe. As I find with the majority of Barry M nail varnishes, the formula was great and once dried Vintage Violet didn't chip until around day 6, very reasonable! Unfortunately I'm not the biggest fan in the world of the colour, as it strays so far from what I was actually after - the search continues!

What do you think of this shade?
